Privacy-First Approach: Cadnce is designed with your privacy as a top priority. Your health and training data stays on your device. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Introduction

KM Digital ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cadnce mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

2. Information We Use

2.1 Health Data

Cadnce reads data from Apple HealthKit to provide training insights. This includes workouts, heart rate, sleep, and recovery metrics. This data is processed on your device and stored locally using SwiftData.

2.2 Information Stored Locally

The App stores data only on your device, including:

Workout history and training load calculations
Recovery metrics and readiness scores
App preferences and settings
Workout notes created in the app

Important: This data stays on your device unless you enable iCloud Backup in iOS settings.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

Personal identification information
Health data on our servers
Location data
Advertising identifiers
Third-party analytics or behavioral tracking

3. Device Permissions

Cadnce requests the following iOS permissions to provide its features:

3.1 HealthKit Access

Purpose: To read workouts, heart rate, sleep, HRV, and VO2 Max data to generate insights.

Optional: You can deny or revoke this permission and still use limited parts of the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

All app data is stored in your device's local database using SwiftData. This data is sandboxed to the Cadnce app and cannot be accessed by other apps.

4.2 iCloud Backup (User-Controlled)

If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, your Cadnce data may be included in your device backups. This is controlled entirely by you through iOS settings.

4.3 Data Deletion

You can delete data in two ways:

Within the app: Delete individual notes or entries
Complete removal: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data

Warning: Once deleted, data cannot be recovered unless you have an iCloud backup.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Apple Services

Cadnce uses the following Apple frameworks and services:

SwiftUI: For user interface
SwiftData: For local data storage
HealthKit: For health data access

These are native iOS frameworks that process data on your device. Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.

5.2 Push Notifications

Cadnce may use OneSignal and Firebase to deliver push notifications. These services may process device identifiers or notification tokens required to send notifications. We do not share Health data with these services.

5.3 No Advertising or Analytics

Cadnce does NOT use:

Advertising networks
Behavioral analytics or tracking
Third-party data brokers

6. Children's Privacy

Cadnce does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since data stays on-device, parents and guardians can allow use under their supervision.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Your Health data remains on your device and is not shared with third parties for advertising or profiling.

8. Your Rights

You have control over your data:

Access: View your data within the app
Modify: Update notes and preferences
Delete: Remove items or uninstall the app

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when changes are made.
