Pro Keeper for iOS

Terms & Privacy

  • Privacy Policy

    Last Updated: January 1, 2025

Privacy-First Approach: Pro Keeper is designed with your privacy as the top priority. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information or statistics to external servers. Everything stays under your control.

    1. Introduction

KM Digital ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Pro Keeper mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

    2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Pro Keeper stores the following information only on your device:

    • Player profiles (names, positions, photos, teams, jersey numbers)

    • Match statistics and event data

    • Fixture information (dates, teams, venues)

    • Career statistics and performance history

    • App settings and preferences

    • Event category ordering customizations

Important: This data is stored locally using iOS SwiftData and never leaves your device unless you explicitly use iOS features like iCloud Backup.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

    We explicitly do NOT collect:

    • Personal identification information

    • Contact information (email addresses, phone numbers)

    • Location data

    • Analytics or usage statistics

    • Advertising identifiers

    • Any data from your matches or players

    3. Device Permissions

Pro Keeper requests the following iOS permissions to provide its features:

    3.1 Microphone Access

Purpose: To enable hands-free voice recognition for recording match events.

How it works: Voice recognition is processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework. No audio is transmitted to external servers.

Optional: You can deny this permission and still use the app by tapping event buttons manually.

    3.2 Speech Recognition

Purpose: To convert your voice commands into match events (e.g., "made a save" → Save event).

How it works: All speech recognition is performed on-device. Your voice data never leaves your iPhone.

Optional: This feature can be disabled; the app will work without it.

    3.3 Calendar Access

Purpose: To allow you to export fixtures to your device calendar for scheduling.

How it works: When you tap "Add to Calendar," the app creates an event in your iOS Calendar app. You have full control over which fixtures to export.

Optional: You can deny this permission and still use all other app features.

    4. Data Storage and Security

    4.1 Local Storage

All app data is stored in your device's local database using iOS SwiftData (built on Core Data). This data is sandboxed to the Pro Keeper app and cannot be accessed by other apps.

    4.2 iCloud Backup (User-Controlled)

If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, your Pro Keeper data may be included in your device backups. This is controlled entirely by you through iOS settings:

    • Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup

    • You can disable iCloud backup for Pro Keeper specifically if desired

    4.3 Data Deletion

Your data can be deleted in two ways:

    • Within the app: Delete individual players, fixtures, or events

    • Complete removal: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data

Warning: Once deleted, data cannot be recovered unless you have an iCloud backup.

    5. Third-Party Services

    5.1 Apple Services

Pro Keeper uses the following Apple frameworks and services:

    • SwiftUI: For user interface

    • SwiftData: For local data storage

    • Speech Framework: For on-device voice recognition

    • EventKit: For calendar integration

    • WatchConnectivity: For Apple Watch synchronization

These are native iOS frameworks that process data on your device. Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.

5.2 No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

    Pro Keeper does NOT use:

    • Google Analytics or any analytics services

    • Facebook SDK or any social media tracking

    • Advertising networks

    • Crash reporting services that transmit data

    • Any third-party data collection tools

    6. Children's Privacy

Pro Keeper is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

Since all data is stored locally on the device and we do not collect any information, parents and guardians can safely allow children to use the app with full control over the data.

    7. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone.

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect any information, there is nothing to share. Your match statistics and player profiles remain entirely private.

    8. International Users

Pro Keeper is available worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers or regional restrictions.

    9. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

    • Access: View all your data within the app

    • Modify: Edit player profiles, fixtures, and statistics

    • Delete: Remove individual items or uninstall the app entirely

    • Export: Currently, data export is limited to calendar events (future updates may include full data export)

    10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

    • Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page

    • Updating the "Last Updated" date

    • Providing an in-app notification for significant changes

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

    11. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or Pro Keeper's privacy practices, please contact us:

    • App Support: Via the "Contact Developer" feature in the app Settings

    12. Legal Compliance

    Pro Keeper complies with:

    • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) - EU users

    • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) - California users

    • COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) - US users under 13

    • Apple App Store Review Guidelines

Our privacy-first, local-only approach means we are compliant by design - we simply do not collect the data that these regulations aim to protect.

Summary: Pro Keeper is a privacy-first app. We do not collect, store, or transmit your data to external servers. Everything stays on your device, under your control. You can use Pro Keeper with confidence that your statistics and player information remain completely private.
